    Hello !

    I need a schematic for the Altec N501-8A crossover. They have the Altec 416 and 808-8A drivers.
    I whant to change C and L buy better quality.

    Anyone got it???????

    A schematic is a wiring diagram, but it sounds like you just want to know what the cap and inductor values are. If so, mine has 28uF and 3.6mH.

    BTW, if you have the original Symbiotic diaphragm in the 808, you will gain some more sound quality by switching it to an aluminum one.

    I know diffrence bettwen Aluminium and symbiotik !


    I stay on symbiotik because the 808 is better than my 806A driver ( cut off = 500 hz).

    Interesting! I bought my 808s when they first came out, listened to them for a few days and swapped the diaphragms to the aluminum ones used in the 802s with a big improvement in sound, and of course they are XO'd at 500Hz also.
